EHS FH runs two BIG fundraisers per year:
1) Thanksgiving Pie Sale (last two weeks in October)
2) Mother’s Day Flower Sale (Two weeks in mid-April)
EHS FH takes great care to create fundraisers for our players (and their families) that are well-organized, easy, no pressure for the seller or buyer, and VERY profitable. Participation in FH fundraisers are optional, but strongly recommended so that players/families can earn the money they will need for FH-related purchases down the road.
How is the money from FH fundraisers used?
Money earned by field hockey players who participate in our FH fundraisers goes into their own personal fundraising account.
Funds in a player’s personal fundraising account can be used by a player for any field hockey-related purchase. This can include field hockey sticks, goggles, shin guards, cleats/turf shoes, field hockey camp or clinic, field hockey league registration fees, etc. Players get reimbursed for these types field hockey-related purchases. All you have to do is present Coach Fischer with a receipt for the purchase. She sends a request to the East Irondequoit All Sports Boosters to make the specified withdrawal from the player’s fundraising account.
It is important to note that any money earned stays in a field hockey player’s personal fundraising account until the player leaves the East Irondequoit School District (i.e., graduates or moves out of district). At that point, any money left in a player’s individual fundraising account automatically rolls over into the general Field Hockey Booster account.
